If the Gospel is the center of our faith, it is important that we have a right understanding of what it is. The church in Galatia was faced with a crisis not unlike many face today. A strange teaching was taking root that in addition to faith in Jesus, there was some ‘extra work’ that needed to be done to ensure salvation. How did this happen to them, how does this happen to us, and what is the remedy?
