Vita's Barn Sanctuary Story/Climate Change and Mitigating Personal Impact Though Diet

In this episode of the Barn & Beyond Podcast, Chase sits down with Vita, a facilities team member to talk about her experiences with Barn Sanctuary. Starting out as an intern, then long time volunteer, she took her time and waited for the opportunity to join the Barn Sanctuary team and get the job she's always wanted. They talk about current facilities projects and some of the hardships that comes with the job, especially on warm summer days and the aftercare process in helping the residents move on to their next journey. Vita also recently graduated with a sustainability major, so we talk about climate change and how much of an impact animal agriculture has on our environment, and how shifting to a plant based diet is the single biggest way you can mitigate your personal climate impact.
