KW along with his partner Vic, who is the second half of Vile Creature, also run a vegan grocery mart together in Hamilton called Coven. We talk all sorts of nonsense. This week I sit down with Ricky Pridmore. Who's done a lot for our music community in the past here in Niagara. He's played in The Ceremonial Snips, The Snips, Dire Club, and a Tubronegro cover band called RoboWhore. He's also one of the founders of Presstime Design and Screenprint. When he isn't playing music he's helping the community by printing merch for local bands and small businesses. This week I had the pleasure of sitting down with my good friend Tyson Blaste. Him and I met because he books a lot of the heavier bands in Windsor, where he resides. He currently drums for Plague, and Trenchlung. Tyson also previously played drums for the viral sensation Grindmother, a grindcore band fronted by a 70 yr old grandmother. We had the pleasure of doing a couple weekend shows together in the past around Ontario and Quebec so we had a great time catching up. When Tyson isn't booking bands or being a road dog-he works on cars, specifically car audio. Fixing and maximizing the sound quality in all sorts of cars and even motorcycles.
