Uncanny Treks: Star Trek- Strange New Worlds S3E4 (2025, TV)

Hollywood invades the Enterprise. Bob and Matt dig into 'A Space Adventure Hour,' where La'an's test of a holodeck prototype in an Amelia Moon detective yarn goes sideways — stranding the crew inside a 1960s-Hollywood pastiche of a TOS-style show called 'The Last Frontier.' Paul Wesley plays a Shatner-esque captain, Anson Mount a Roddenberry-inspired writer, Rebecca Romijn a Lucille Ball-style producer, and Jonathan Frakes directs. Matt eats this franchise-mirror stuff up; Bob checks the seams — and neither sees the twist about who's really helping La'an coming.
