Feeling like a single married mom, married on paper, but alone all the time. Ashley also uncovers how a chance doctors appoint lead to her official depression diagnosis, the stigma behind mental health in the black community and taking off the "strong black women armor." Mental Health can infect us all. Depression is an infection, an illness. But even after her initial diagnosis, seeking therapy and medication...nothing helped. Bullsh*t kept piling on a break in at her home, developing insomnia, gaining 30lbs in less than a month and her marriage in turmoil.
