Society tells us that those who appear to have it all are somehow exempt from anxiety or depression, but nothing could be farther from the truth. No one is exempt. Societal imposed standards of who and what a woman today should be, coupled with the constant pressure of the need for perfection, leave us to fall apart at the seams. The unfiltered truth is that life is tough, but so are you.
DO THAT SH!T is the straight-shooting voice in your head you never knew you needed. An unapologetic reminder that you already have everything you need to be the best version of yourself.More than affirmations delicately woven together, this book is a collage of intimate stories, undeniable truths, unapologetic revelations, and most importantly cues that inspire you to reshapes the way you think about your life. In this poignant self-redefining guides, Ashley gets real about the realities of self doubt, depression, chasing the life you need, want and deserve by any means necessary, and dealing with the realities of the series of events that have served to shape who you are and what will become.Nothing in this book is sugar coated, Ashley tells it like it is. Do That Sh!t is the response to the voices that inundated us with empty messages of happiness. Instead, you are encouraged to get up, get out, and become the hero of your own life. Whatever you desire can be yours, but you must be willing to conquer yourself to go out and get it. Are you ready?
