As an interior designer, Natalie uses her expertise to curate spaces tailored to the needs of each individual client she works with. Before meeting our next guests, Larry Shapin and Ladonna Nicolas, I had never been to a home that was filled with art wall to wall. There was work in the living room, dining room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and everywhere else in between! Not only that, but they’ve had to make space on the property to build more gallery space over the years as they acquired more work. The best part is, 99% of the work was created by local artists. It was incredible! In this episode I chat with Larry and Ladonna about their unique collection, the different art adventures they immerse themselves in, the importance of appreciating local art, and the joys of collecting.
