Stagione 1

Dave Yost and Ohio House Bill 507 with Rep. Lauren McNally

We ask State Representative Lauren McNally of the 58th District -- covering the Youngstown area -- about how sex trafficking stings impact local communities, and why Ohio HB 507 (Prohibit a person from receiving proceeds from prostitution) received no Democratic opposition in the State House. Honestly we were surprised to hear back from a currently sitting Democratic Rep, especially given our differing opinions on policies affecting the lives of sex workers. However, we at least wanted to hear her out. Get tickets for "MAGIC MIKE" Night Louisville Donate to Old Pros Email us at arrangementswithstrangers@pm.me or leave a message: (513) 399-4761

Ohio House Bill 249 and Establishment Democrats with Political Pasties

Columbus-based burlesque performers Indigo Sage and Pandora Foxx join us for our first guest three-way! They share what political advocacy is really like as sex workers and how Political Pasties was birthed, the movement marrying the two. Then we dissect working with progressive versus centrist Democrats, and the controversial discourse around Ohio House Bill 249: Enact the Indecent Exposure Modernization Act. Hunks Tanked, Drinks for Decrim and 1,400mg of Edibles

We discuss our Drinks for Decrim fundraising campaign for Old Pros in collaboration with Cincy-based businesses, and our story submission about a (highly) unhinged booking. Also this week, after reaching over 4,000 followers on their main handle, Meta takes down both Queen City Hunks Instagram accounts and Facebook account. Rest in penis. Raising Goats and Dancing in Babylon with Mary Mother of God

Our presence is graced by Indianapolis-based stripper and writer Mary Mother of God. We discuss combating violence against sex workers, finding your chosen family in the club and what it's like producing Indiana's first sex worker-forward cabaret, Whores of Babylon. Apologies for the abrupt audio cut-out towards the end of our conversation, we've discovered it's a cable issue and are troubleshooting it as soon as we can. Lonely Looners and Trafficking Stings with MJ

Featuring our second male on the show is MJ: Ohio-based kinkster, balloon enthusiast and close companion of none other than our Lady Meredith. Thank you so much for being flexible with us. We've obviously been in a season of experimentation, but we're really excited to show what we have in store. Megachurches, Pregnancy Scares and Cleveland Facebook Groups

Our first story submission of the season is all about missed connections at the intersection of glorified gatekeeping and gaslighting: the Midwestern megachurch. Also, North Royalton parents on Facebook outraged over the Queen City Hunks taking over Amici Italian Restaurant & Bar just outside of Cleveland. No parents nor hunks were harmed in the production of that performance. Get tickets for "MAGIC MIKE" Night Columbus Email us at arrangementswithstrangers@pm.me or leave a message: (513) 399-4761

Midlife Intimacy and Letting your Fetish Flag Fly with Robyn Wood

We sit down and chat with Cincinnati-based therapist and sex educator Robyn Wood about how her work in the kink community led her to working in the counseling community. We then talk all things BDSM, censorship and navigating sexual shame in a conservative state. Then we discuss transitioning as a teen, a suicidal stalker and how to take care of your community in a country on fire. Also apologies for Star's mic cutting up the audio, we did the best we could to salvage our conversation but again any USB-compatible mic recommendations are appreciated.
