Note sull'episodio
Let’s get dangerous! Steve "Megatron" Phillips and TFG1Mike kick off the show with massive news for Disney Afternoon fans: Darkwing Duck is officially returning with a brand-new animated series greenlit for Disney+! We break down what this reboot needs to do to capture the magic of St. Canard, Gosalyn, and the Terror That Flaps in the Night.
Then, we dive into a heated discussion surrounding the state of James Gunn’s DCU slate. We examine the viral industry commentary from The Pod You're Looking For dissecting "Gods and Monsters" three years after its announcement—from rumors of production stalls and underperforming slates, to the lack of a traditional Batman build-up, and why James Gunn immediately debunked on Threads that Matthew Lillard is playing The Flash. Plus, we tackle the growing trend of theatrical movie re-releases featuring "new footage" and why studios are repackaging what used to be basic DVD special features into ticketed theater events. From Charlie and Martin Sheen teaming up for AMC's Happy Jack to Toys "R" Us expanding its brick-and-mortar footprint, we've got a jam-packed week in Geekdom!
