- Micah opens with judgment on Samaria and Jerusalem for idolatry and injustice; disaster comes for the wounds of the people.

- Princes and prophets who hate good and love evil will lose their vision; Zion will be plowed like a field because of bloodshed and bribes.

Romans 7:1-25

- Believers have died to the law through the body of Christ so they may belong to him who was raised, and bear fruit for God.

- The law is holy, yet sin uses the commandment to produce death. Paul groans: who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ.
