- Elijah says there will be no rain, God feeds him by ravens and a widow at Zarephath, and he raises her son.

- On Mount Carmel Yahweh answers by fire against Baal, the people turn back, and rain returns after the drought.

1 Corinthians 15:12-34

- If the dead are not raised, Christ is not raised and faith is empty, but Christ has been raised as the firstfruits.

- In Adam all die, in Christ all will be made alive. Paul says he dies daily, so do not be deceived.
