In this episode, we welcome Dr. Khadija Abdool Abdel Bary to the podcast. Dr. Khadija Abdool Abdelbary is a highly experienced and skilled Specialist Paediatrician working at the Town Square branches of Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her MBBS from the Gulf Medical University in Ajman. She is a Board Certified Pediatrician from the Council of the Arab Board of Health Specialization and has an MSc in Autism and related Neurodevelopmental conditions. She is also a Registered Qualified Test User (RQTU) under the British Psychological Society and certified in Griffiths III Assessments and ADOS-2 Assessment, as well as as well as certified in Basic Life Support, Paediatrics Advanced Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program. Dr.Abdelbary has a decade of clinical experience in Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics. She has worked in a range of hospitals across the UAE, like the Latifa Hospital, the Dubai Hospital, The Children's Medical Center, Jumeriah and the Saudi German clinics. Her duties included inpatient, Emergency, ICU and outpatient settings covering various general pediatrics and sub-speciality cases. She was the Medical Director and Paediatrician at The Children's Medical Centre in Dubai. In this episode, we welcome Dr. Ola Phyktina to the podcast. Dr. Olga (Ola) Pykhtina is a DHA-licensed psychologist, play & art therapist, and the Medical Director at the Wellness Hub. She specializes in working with children, adults, families, and couples. She gained her Ph.D in Counselling from the school of Education and Communication at Newcastle University, UK. She has three Master’s degrees from Ukraine and the UK. Dr. Ola was trained as a play therapist through the Canadian Association of Child and Play Therapy. She is a certified CBT adult therapist. In addition, in her work with adults, Dr. Ola uses a Client-Centred approach. She also works with couples using Gottman Method. Supporting mothers-to-be and current mothers in their search for balance and wellbeing is one of her passions.
