Vice President JD Vance's White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud canceled about 315,000 Affordable Care Act enrollments covering 760,000 people, sent 419,000 more enrollments for extra verification, and put the taxpayer savings at $2.2 billion, per the Associated Press and CNBC. The task force says 40 insurance agents and brokers were behind 50,000 fraudulent accounts worth $45 million; 66 agents have been cut off, 469 more are on the list, and there is a six-month freeze on new brokers signing anyone up.
