A former senior CIA official with top-secret clearance has been arrested in Virginia, and federal agents say what came out of his home defies belief: more than 300 gold bars valued at over $40 million, roughly $2 million in cash, and a collection of 35 luxury watches. According to the FBI affidavit and court filings (reported by The Independent), the gold was requisitioned from the federal government as "work-related expenses" over a span of months.
