The Wake County Public School System has notified families about a cybersecurity breach involving the education platform Canvas that may have exposed personal information belonging to students and staff. Kimberly Simon, CEO of Growth Office Partners, says families should stay alert for suspicious emails, texts, or other communications following the breach.
