A storm rises without warning on the Sea of Galilee, and the disciples find Jesus still asleep in the boat. On the far shore, a man tormented by more spirits than he can count meets them among the tombs. A synagogue ruler begs for his dying daughter, and a woman who has suffered for twelve years reaches for the hem of a robe. And back in Herod's court, a request made at a birthday feast will cost John the Baptist his life.
