In this Pentecost message, Pastor Lindsey explores the transition from Acts 1 to Acts 2 and how the coming of the Holy Spirit changed the way God's people discern His will. Before Pentecost, the disciples cast lots to make important decisions, trusting God to guide the outcome. But after the Holy Spirit was poured out, we never see them return to that practice. Why? Because they were no longer relying on chance—they were being led by the Spirit.
