Have you ever felt called to become a foster mom or a foster dad?

For me personally, I did not. I did not feel called to go that way when we were on our adoption journey and I did not feel called to go back into the system after we received our adopted daughter two years ago.

However, I have been feeling this tug at my heart to re-posture it and think about it through a different lens. One without gobs of paperwork, making sure my home is perfect, or waiting for someone to approve me to love on other kids.

I am becoming a foster mom in my own way and I want to encourage you to listen to this episode. We owe it to the kids God puts in our paths to love on them and foster them well.
