The Gospel : Four Days In
Notas del episodio
In the final week of this series, Jermaine walks through John 11 and pulls together everything we've learned about the gospel into one story: God's holiness, our deadness, Jesus stepping in, and our response.
Jesus doesn't manage Mary and Martha's grief from a distance — he enters it. He weeps, even knowing what he's about to do. Then he speaks one command into a sealed tomb, and a dead man walks out.
But the story doesn't end at the tomb door. Lazarus comes out still wrapped in grave clothes — and Jesus turns to the people standing there and says, "Unbind him, and let him go." That's the church. Not a club for people who have it together, but a community of people who've been called out of the tomb, helping others get free too.
This week: What does it look like to not just receive the gospel, but carry it?
