Notas del episodio

In this episode, Lauren continues our journey through the Children’s Catechism and begins exploring one of the most amazing truths about God: the Trinity.

We’ll learn that there is one true God who exists in three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We’ll open our Bibles to Matthew 28:19 and 2 Corinthians 13:14 and see how Scripture speaks about the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The Trinity can be difficult for us to understand, and that’s okay! Rather than trying to explain the Trinity with an illustration that doesn’t fully represent who God is, we’ll let God’s Word tell us what is true about Him. We may not understand everything about God, but we can trust what He has revealed about Himself.

We’ll also talk about how the Trinity connects to the gospel: the Father sends, the Son saves, and the Holy Spirit works in us.

Scripture in This Episode
