Sign Special — VANDAR · July 3 – July 23
VANDAR · The Tiger's Eye Sign · July 3 – July 23
A special edition of The Dog You Chose. Most mornings, The Daily Companion reads all eighteen Companion Signs and moves briskly along — but every sign in the wheel deserves a portrait of its own, and this series takes them one at a time, in the order of the year.
Benedetto opens the paper from Gulfport, Florida. Violetta paints the full Vandar portrait: the Trailblazer of the pack, a dog running on the Hunt instinct and the Tiger's Eye's mood of Fierce Independence — independent, resilient, and constitutionally incapable of waiting for permission. Its motto: "I'll do it myself." Its habitat: the Mountain Path. Its warning, delivered kindly: beware of refusing help when it is needed. And the portrait closes with the sign's lesson — accept help, and let the view be shared.
A musical break from the author's own notebook: 'USA — Sing, oh sing, on that cursed guitar.'
Vandar's readings run in the daily paper through July 23; on July 24 the wheel turns to Fenric. Find your dog's sign at dogyouchose.com. From The Companion Signs by Nick A. Shishkov — the first horoscope ever written for dogs.
