Sign Special — KESTRA · June 13 – July 2
KESTRA · The Opal Sign · June 13 – July 2
A special edition of The Dog You Chose. Most mornings, The Daily Companion reads all eighteen Companion Signs and moves briskly along — but every sign in the wheel deserves a portrait of its own, and this series takes them one at a time, in the order of the year.
Benedetto opens the paper from Gulfport, Florida. Violetta paints the full Kestra portrait: the Scout of the pack, a dog running on the Trail instinct and the Opal's mood of Endless Curiosity — curious, adaptable, and constitutionally incapable of leaving a trail unexplored. Its motto: "Let's see what happens." Its habitat: the Trailhead. Its warning, delivered kindly: beware of mistaking motion for progress. And the portrait closes with the sign's lesson — slow down sometimes, and let one discovery arrive all by itself.
A musical break from the author's own notebook: 'Balla Italia.'
Kestra's readings run in the daily paper through July 2; on July 3 the wheel turns to Vandar. Find your dog's sign at dogyouchose.com. From The Companion Signs by Nick A. Shishkov — the first horoscope ever written for dogs.
