Welcome to Step Into Your Sunshine… the space where we don’t just talk about healing we live it.

In this first episode of Season 5, I’m joined by three incredible women as we explore something that could change everything: reframing pain as communication, not punishment.

We dive into how grief and trauma can live in the body, why so many of us power through until our bodies force us to stop, what masking and overwhelm are really trying to say, and how society quietly benefits when we ignore our own needs.

And if you’re in deep pain right now we close with gentle, practical tools to help you come back to yourself… one layer at a time.

Kelly-Anne Riley-Smith:

Kelly-anne Riley-Smith is an Autism and Anxiety Sleep Specialist supporting families of autistic children who are struggling with sleep. Combining professional training with lived experience as a parent in a neurodivergent household, she helps families move from exhaustion and overwhelm to calmer nights and more confident parenting. Kelly-Anne takes a whole-child, nervous-system-led approach, recognising that sleep difficulties are rarely “just bedtime” but connected to anxiety, sensory needs and regulation across the day. Through her 1:1 programmes, resources and community support, she empowers parents with practical, compassionate strategies that truly fit their child.
