Today we continue the sermon series from the Gospel of Luke and take a look at Luke 8:1-18. In today's passage, Jesus teaches by using a parable. This parable is known to us as "The Parable of the Sower." In this parable, seed falls on different types of soil. Only the seed that falls on good soil grows and produces.

In each of the situations, the difference was not the seed. Instead, the difference was the soil. When we compare this to our lives, we can ask ourselves the question "what kind of soil is my heart?"
