Luke - Week 17: When Jesus Changes Your Heart, Things Are Different // Luke 6:27-38
Join us as Pastor Todd continues the series from the Gospel of Luke. Today, we take a look at Luke 6:27-38. The title of this sermon is "When Jesus Changes Your Heart, Things Are Different." We often notice when someone loses a large amount of weight, or if they go with a drastically different hairstyle. We notice those things because there is a change to the person's outward appearance. But when Jesus saves a person, what happens? Should we be able to see a change? The answer to that question is "yes." We should definitely see a change, because of the fact that when Jesus saves a person, He transforms our heart. It has an impact on the way that we live....because when Jesus changes your heart, things are different! Join us as Pastor Todd continues the sermon series from the Gospel of Luke by taking a look at Luke 6:12-26. Today's sermon title is "The Difference Between Temporary and Eternal." Throughout each day, we continually make choices. Some of those choices might even seem insignificant at the time. For example: what's for lunch, what's for dinner, etc.? However, there is one choice that is much more serious. That choice is whether or not to live our lives for the glory of Christ. When we make that decision, it is one that is eternal.
