Nothing New

por Nicolas Fierro

Sounds corny, but you are loved. Seriously just listen...

As human beings, we cannot fully comprehend everything and we will never know everything no matter how hard we try. We are lifelong learners and to say that we "know it all" is foolish... In this episode, I wanted to touch on the topic of "love" and to bring light of how much you are loved to the point where you cannot fully understand it, and that's actually a good thing! Because this supernatural "love of God" is something I feel we should all be aware of, just give it a listen it won't hurt... Identity: What if everything was taken away from you?

Discovering our identity is something we need to understand before we leave this earth. Asking the question of "who am I?" should be asked at some point in our lives, which will help our relationships and overall life in general. Before we can ever lead or assist anyone on their journey, it is best to know where we come from. Hope you enjoy this episode, just as much as I enjoyed making it. Who is God: EP.4 Holy Spirit

Just as we covered the Holy Spirit in the last episode "Holy Trinity." It is important to understand the role and the way a person experiences God by the Holy Spirit. Things covered: Role and importance of the Holy Spirit Misconceptions of the Holy Spirit Helps Unbelievers *Apostle Philip spoke to Ethiopian Eunuch in Acts 8:26-40* NOT Paul

Who is God: EP.5 God Commanded/Committed Genocide?

I will admit, there are alot of challenging reads in the Bible and I don't blame anyone for feeling uncomfortable and having a problem with the material that is presented in the Bible (especially in the Old Testament). But if we do not read in context and try to understand the bigger picture of why things took place as they did, then that is when debates, arguments and inaccurate perceptions happen. Instead, reading intently into the scriptures and asking questions to those who have studied well in certain areas will help us get the answers we want/need. Although we read that "God is love," we must understand that God is just and there must be a justice system to press a charge against the evil and have the good prevail in the end. Nothing God does is out of spite or evil intent, but out of justice, bring about a better circumstance (children in the Old Testament dying, but are brought up to Heaven; 2 Samuel 12:23, Isaiah 7:16, Deuteronomy 1:39, Matthew 18:3-6, 1 John 2:15-17) and to also prevent something bad from occurring... Things covered: God's love, justice and righteousness Destruction of Canaanite women and children Evil and Sin The killings of animals

Who is God: EP.6 Can We Trust The Bible? (Part 1)

The Bible is a book that has been critiqued and wondered about its reliability for centuries. Yet, many others have defended this to be the inerrant Word of God, that is true with 100% fulfilled prophecies, archaeological evidence, eye witness testimonies and so much more. It is my duty to present to you the evidence as to why the Bible is true and that why I encourage everyone to put their faith in it. Things that will be covered in this episode of part 1 of "Can We Trust The Bible?": Manuscripts Evidence of Jesus existence, death, burial and resurrection External accounts Eye witness testimonies Historicity and accuracy

Who is God: EP.7 Can We Trust The Bible? (Part 2)

This is part 2 of a 2-part evidential account/episode of proving the Bible's validity, credibility, historicity and truth in the life of mankind. In this episode we will cover: Evidence of the Holy Spirit's existence Proof of the Resurrection of Christ The Apostles radical change of their lives post-resurrection The Gospels complementary work Liar, Lunatic or Lord? NOTE: This may or may not be the last episode for Season 1. I plan on moving onto Season 2 soon, along with incorporating "Special Guest Specials..." Please, leave a comment if you want to hear more of "Who is God:" and want me to do more content for this season's topic in particular... Blessings, Nothing New

Temporada 2

The Real Problem, The Real Enemy

11:06 - *Ephesians chapter 5, verses 28-29 S2:EP1 Dr. Ben Rein said in his book "Why Brains Need Friends" that division is the reason we fail to build connections. But the real question becomes: Why do we even divide from each other in the first place? Is this a natural trait within us and there is no solution, or could there be a root to that problem? Moreover, if we fight amongst each other and keep blaming one another, then we will never build healthy connections. So, the enemy is not you and me. The enemy is someone who does not want to be revealed... Instagram: nothing_new_podcast

This is Love: Grace & Mercy

With the amount of negativity, setbacks, adversity and delays in this world, it can be hard to believe if any good can arise out of this. The Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ is something that can be looked at as “too good to be true.” But truth isn’t verified by opinion. It's verified by evidence. That evidence of the Gospel therefore has been proven to change lives, bring everlasting peace and joy, even to the point of people willing to die for it. Now that is love. Though we did not love Him, He loved us first. “The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church” - Tertullian, 197 AD Timestamps: Point #1 Mercy: 2:05 Point #2 No Greater Love: 7:30 Point #3 Grace: 15:15
