You knew. Before it went wrong, you knew. And you did it anyway. This episode is about the quiet voice every man has overridden, and what it costs him when he keeps doing it.

In this episode of Being a Man, we look at the moment right at the start of every disaster: the hire, the deal, the relationship. Somewhere near the beginning there was a small, clear knowing underneath the noise, and you talked yourself out of it. You called it nerves. You built a list of reasons it was fine and let logic overrule the knowing.

Men are trained to trust only what can produce a spreadsheet. But your logic can be bought, flattered, and talked into anything by a good enough pitch, especially when you want something to be true. The quiet knowing has no agenda, which is exactly why it is so easy to dismiss. It says its piece once, then goes silent and lets you choose. Override it often enough and it does not disappear; it just gets harder to hear, until a man cannot feel his own direction without everyone else's opinion.

In this episode:

- The moment before every collapse where something in you said no

- Why analysis can be bought and intuition cannot

- What happens to a man who overrides his own knowing for years

- Why you will never have all the information, and were built accordingly

- A sixty-second practice before your next real decision

Spiritual, never religious. No doctrine, nothing to join. For men who second-guess themselves into decisions they regret.
