There are things inside us that words cannot reach.
Noemi Beres discovered this at her father's bedside in 2019. As he moved through his final weeks, she sat beside him cutting and pasting, working on collages in the dark. Not because it seemed like the right thing to do. Because it was the only thing that helped. The colors disappeared. Everything went black and white. And somewhere in that process, without naming it or planning it, she was putting her grief somewhere it could be held.
Noemi is a self-taught mixed media collage artist who has called Cyprus home for fifteen years. She has studied art therapy, color therapy, and positive psychology.
