Ep. 34 Ben Adams

The world is really big and yet really small at the same time This episode and this conversation sorta prove that. Ben is one of my favorite artists, has been for a while, so it was super cool to have this chat with him. He's a full time creative and living in one of the most beautiful places on earth. I was able to pick his brain a bit here like I haven't been able to before. I hope yall enjoy this episode because I really enjoyed recording it. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/kaanp/message

Ep. 33 Danita Dodson

Another episode from Hancock county. I was super pleased to get this one recorded and out to yall. Ms. Danita was my high school Spanish teacher, at which she did an amazing job. She also does amazing jobs in other aspects of her life that do not involve classrooms. She's worldly and well traveled, articulate and an excellent listener, able to recognize things for their inherent beauty and to just be. When I learned she was putting together a collection of her poetry I knew I had to read it and I knew I had to chat with her about it. This is that chat, about Trailing the Azimuth. You can find her social media outlets below. Website Instagram Facebook As always thanks for listening and supporting the podcast. Enjoy! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/kaanp/message

Ep. 32 Matt Baum of Watch Out For Snakes

Chipwave is a word I didnt know until I had this conversation. It's the name given to the music made by Matt. A little bit 80's, a lot of videogames of the time, all fun. Watch Out For Snakes really hits me right in the feels and I leapt forth into the ether to ask Matt if he wanted to be on the show and he said yes. So here we are. He's in the ATL so we did this one virtual and made the best of it. You can find all the goodness, tour dates, merch, and the rest of all that jazz on his Bandcamp. Enjoy, and thanks for listening! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/kaanp/message

Ep. 31 Rick Campbell

Rick has been playing music for a while, and playing professionally on his own terms, which is a great accomplishment on its own. We gathered in his garage on a sort of windy day in east Tennessee. It was a privilege to sit with him and hear him tell of some of his favorite moments as a musician, pick his brain about how he makes the music he shares on youtube, and learn a little bit about how things used to be. You can find him on his channel @ RickCampbellMusic It was great to record within the lines of Hancock County and I look forward to my next opportunity to do so. ALSO!! Big thanks to Arthur Hatton for lending me some intro/outro tunes. You can find the link to his song "fourteen hours" here As always, thank you for listening, and enjoy. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/kaanp/message

Ep. 30 What should have been episode 25.

So this was the last thing I intended to record/release in 2021 buuuuuuttttttttt it wasnt because I forgot to post it. However here it is now. The guest list is as follows, Tonia West, Adam Rowe, Kevin Arellano, Terri Misch. It was a privilege to have all these wonderful people in one room tot talk to one another. I hit record and we were off to the races. It was a treat to record and I'm pleased to share it with everyone. I hope you enjoy. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/kaanp/message

Ep. 29 Chris Miller

If you are into automotive shenanigans in east Tennessee you may have heard of Risefab. If you haven't then you're in luck because I sat down with the man who started the business, Chris Miller. We talked about his journey to becoming the man behind the madness that is his shop. He helms a tight ship with a small crew who put out top quality work on full blown race cars all the way down to well modded daily driver goodness. Cars, car stuff, and some foolery inbound. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/kaanp/message

Ep.27 KAANP x SOS (South of Scruffy w/ Ben Fields)

I always enjoy getting to know whats up with people that do similar things to myself and I had the privilege to do that. Ben runs the South of Scruffy podcast where he talks with just about whoever strikes his fancy. Which is pretty much what I do, so it was nice to sit across the table from him and dig into the how's and why's of his program. We find parallels, differences, and overall a greater understanding of one another's creative outputs. That's an awesome thing in my opinion. I had a great time chatting with another local creative person and I hope yall enjoy listening. Links to his instagram and podcast are hyperlinked (which I think only works in the browser) so go check him out! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/kaanp/message

Ep. 26 Micah Goss aka Gauce

Short description for this one. Micah is Knoxville through and through but like a lot of us do he had to split town to grow as a person and a creative. We talk a lil bit about that in this episode. At the end of the episode is one of his tracks called Facts. You can find him on instagram @saucewitag_ and his spotify is linked below Spotify --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/kaanp/message

Ep.49 Pretzel, Dan, Ruck, and the Moon Captain.

At this point its tradition. I set down with my 3 closest and dearest creative cohorts and we talk shop about the past, and maybe the future. We talk smack, a little art, and a whole lotta nonsense. This is definitely not the episode for serious art conversation but if you wanna hear 4 friends be goofs and touch on what its like to be us in this crazy world then this is the one for you. Its been another crazy year making the KAANP, and I am whole heartedly appreciative of every moment yall spent listening and sharing the show. Fun things are in the works for 2023 so tick around! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/kaanp/message

the Twisted Wrist x the Flop Ball Bonus pisode!

So there's this thing, called a Flop Ball, and it's awesome. I talk to the guy who created it. We talk about how play and art are important and why I wanted to put my art on it. Artist Series 01 Dropping Thursday. Limited run. Get em while you can. You can find the Flop Ball here and Paul's instagram here Much Excite. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/kaanp/message
