You walked in tired. Not sleepy — tired. There's a difference, and a three-day weekend isn't going to touch it.
Labor Day started in 1883 with a crowd of people in New York City saying, "We are being worked to the bone and we cannot survive this." You don't work twelve-hour days seven days a week. But you walked in this weekend saying the exact same sentence they did.
In this message, Pastor Tim opens Psalm 92 — the only psalm in all 150 written specifically for the Sabbath, and written not just to be read but to be sung. And instead of teaching about rest, we practiced it.
