Notas del episodio
On this midweek edition of the Front Page Football Podcast, the boys have a special episode for our South Australian listeners!
Host Christian Marchetti is joined by fellow SA-based FPF writer Antonis Pagonis for a one-hour deep dive into what has been a very disappointing season for Adelaide United in the A-League Men. The boys dissect Carl Veart's recent comments on the Reds' squad building failures resulting from their age profile, the absence of a game changer in the team following Craig Goodwin's off-season departure, and other recruitment decisions, such as the plethora of midfielders and a lack of quality Visa signings.
Later in the pod, the boys delve deeper into the problems, giving their thoughts on whether the club's ownership will look to invest in the team this off-season, the way the Nestory Irankunda situation has been handled, and Antonis finishes by giving his detailed plan of how they can turn their fortunes around for the 2024/25 campaign.
