Ephesians 2:10 declares that God’s people are “His workmanship.” Three other translations call us “God’s handiwork” (something He is deeply and personally involved in making), God’s “work of art” and “God’s masterpiece.” So the Creator of the universe, overflowing with divine genius and artistic excellence, is working on every detail of your life to make sure His eternal purpose is fulfilled in you. God’s people are named “the righteous,” “heirs of righteousness” and even, “the righteousness of God in Christ.” Clearly, righteousness is not just something believers strive to attain; it is something transferred to them supernaturally through new birth. The impartation of righteousness is one of the most amazing gifts God gives to those who love Him. This revelation will definitely build your faith. “You can have your truth and I can have my truth and we can both be right!” That’s the mantra chanted by this generation. The “CO-EXIST” bumper-sticker mindset equals compromise. In an increasingly pluralistic culture, God has called His people to stand up and stand out as “the pillar and foundation of the truth”: immovable, unshakeable, unchangeable. Seize this high calling! In a beautiful prophetic psalm, Hannah declared that God raises His people from the degradation of their past to become “the pillars of the earth.” In a New Testament sense, therefore, the body of Christ is the supporting structure of the kingdom of God in this world—the influencers who connect heaven and earth. How can New Jerusalem (“Jerusalem above”) be “the mother of us all” (all born again believers)? Why is the contrast between heavenly Jerusalem and earthly Jerusalem compared to Sarah and Hagar in the epistle to the Galatians? And why did the apostle Paul name God’s New Covenant people “children of the freewoman”? Many mysterious, scriptural metaphors will be revealed on this episode. The God of the Bible is a God of signs and wonders. He brought Israel out of Egypt with signs and wonders and then they became a sign and a wonder in the earth. He birthed the church on Pentecost with signs and wonders, and then, in fulfillment of an ancient prophecy, the disciples became signs and wonders in their generation. This divine purpose is still going on. God hasn’t changed! Now it is YOUR TURN!!! Be awakened to your supernatural purpose!!! God calls His people to speak as “oracles of God” (1 Pt. 4:11). In other words, we are to speak as if God is speaking through us—words of truth, words of faith, words of love, words that are powerfully anointed of His Spirit, and on the highest level, words that are prophetic in nature. This mandate is given to all believers; those who fulfill it become world-changers and history-makers. No one can share God’s glory, right? Actually, the exact opposite is true. God’s people are even named “partakers of the glory” and “the house of His glory”! Before Jesus went to the cross, He prayed, “Father, the glory you gave Me, I have given them.” So, this has already been established by a divine decree! This revelation is glorious!
