In a beautiful prophetic psalm, Hannah declared that God raises His people from the degradation of their past to become “the pillars of the earth.” In a New Testament sense, therefore, the body of Christ is the supporting structure of the kingdom of God in this world—the influencers who connect heaven and earth.
