Instagram still remains one of the most major platforms even after their biggest pivot of adding reels. Instagram being photos only and curating a grid was so cool and it is sadly very missed. If Instagram stuck to being photo based (keeping stories of course) I wonder how amazing of a platform would it be for Instagram and content creators/influencers. Monetization could be different as well since creators best monetization option is brand partnerships.
