Prioritize: Pre-prioritize your questions and concerns for the visit. Medication List: Make a list of all medications (times, dosages, how they work for you) and all supplements with dosages. Support: If desired, bring a companion to take notes or be there for support. Take Notes: Bring something to record your doctor's advice and instructions. Avoid Beforehand: Skip the alcohol, high-fat foods, large amounts of caffeine, and smoking prior to your appointment. Key Questions for Your Doctor "Are you going to change up my medications/inhalers? Why or why not?" Discuss creating or updating The Action Plan to track trouble. "Am I due for any tests?
