The Book of Isaiah 1 & 2

In this episode of Scripture Road: Life’s Journey, we begin our journey through the book of Isaiah with chapters 1 and 2.

Isaiah opens with a serious warning to Judah. The people still worship God outwardly, but their hearts and actions have drifted far from Him. We break down what God is confronting, why empty religious practice is not enough, and what He means when He says, “Come now, and let us reason together.”

Then in chapter 2, the message shifts toward hope. Isaiah gives us a vision of a future where people come to the Lord for instruction, nations seek peace, and swords are beaten into plowshares.

Along the way, we’ll slow down, explain the historical setting, compare passages from the King James Version and World English Bible, and look at what these chapters can teach us about repentance, worship, judgment, humility, and hope today.
