In this expositional sermon on John 13:18–30, we watch Jesus knowingly hand a piece of bread to the very man who will betray Him; and love him to the very end anyway. He tells His disciples what is coming before it happens, not to alarm them, but so that when the darkest night in history unfolds, they will know with certainty that He is the great I AM, sovereign even over His own betrayal. Come and see a Savior who chose His own before the foundation of the world, and hear His urgent call to leave the darkness and walk in the light while there is still time.
