Love One Another

In this expositional sermon on John 13:31-38, we watch Jesus turn from Judas's departure into the night to declare, with striking calm, that his coming death is in fact his glory and the Father's. Out of that love he gives his disciples a new command to love one another the way he has loved them, all the way to the cross. This is the very mark the world will recognize as unmistakably his. And when eager, well-meaning Peter vows he'll never leave, Jesus tenderly tells him he will fail that very night, a reminder that our Savior's love holds fast even when ours falters.

The Lord Who Serves (Part 2)

In this expositional sermon on John 13:18–30, we watch Jesus knowingly hand a piece of bread to the very man who will betray Him; and love him to the very end anyway. He tells His disciples what is coming before it happens, not to alarm them, but so that when the darkest night in history unfolds, they will know with certainty that He is the great I AM, sovereign even over His own betrayal. Come and see a Savior who chose His own before the foundation of the world, and hear His urgent call to leave the darkness and walk in the light while there is still time.

The Lord Who Serves (Part 1)

In this expositional sermon on John 13:1-17, we watch the Lord of all creation kneel down with a basin and towel to wash His disciples' dirty feet; and discover that this is who our God has always been. Peter's objection exposes the temptation in all of us to relate to Jesus on our own terms, but Jesus is clear: the only way to belong to Him is to let Him serve and cleanse you, not to clean yourself up. Come hear how the foot washing points us straight to the cross, where the Lord and Teacher served His own to the very end.

The Hour Has Come (Part 3)

In this expositional sermon on John 12:37–50, here's something that should stop us in our tracks: this crowd watched sign after sign and still wouldn't believe; and John tells us that wasn't an accident, it was Isaiah's ancient words coming true right in front of them. But don't miss what's tucked right alongside that: some did believe, they just kept it quiet because they cared more about their standing with people than with God. And into all of it, Jesus says something so simple and so good; to see Him is to see the Father, and He came to save us, not condemn us.

The Hour Has Come (Part 2)

In this expositional sermon on John 12:27-36, we watch Jesus's soul grow troubled as His hour finally arrives; not because His glorification was in doubt, but because it would come through a cross. There, He tells us, the world's judgment falls, the ruler of this world is cast down, and people from every nation are drawn to the Savior who was lifted up for them. It's a sober, searching passage, and it ends with a plea that still stands: the Light is here a little while longer, walk in it while you can.

The Hour Has Come (Part 1)

In this expositional sermon on John 12:20-26, we watch a simple request from a handful of seeking Greeks become the moment Jesus had been waiting for all along: "The hour has come." Rather than granting a private audience, He answers with the truth that His death is not defeat but the doorway to a harvest—for Jew and Gentile alike—like a grain of wheat that must fall into the ground before it can bear fruit. Come and see that following this crucified Messiah means losing a life we could never keep anyway, to gain the life only He can give.

Faithful Living

In this expositional sermon on James 5:13-20, we see that God has an answer for every providence of life—prayer for the suffering, praise for the cheerful, and the tender ministry of elders for the sick, all resting not on the power of our words but on the faithfulness of a Father who hears. The "prayer of faith" isn't about generating enough belief; it's the confidence of praying God's own promises back to Him and trusting Him to keep His word, as Elijah did. And in James's final charge, we're reminded that genuine faith goes after the wandering brother, echoing the Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to bring the lost one home.

Prayer

In this expositional sermon on Matthew 6:5-13, Jesus teaches us that prayer is not a performance before people, but communion with our Father who sees in secret. He gives us a pattern that begins with God’s name, God’s kingdom, and God’s will before bringing our daily needs, our sin, and our struggles before Him. Prayer is not about impressing God with many words, but coming to Him as children who know their Father hears them.

Patience in Suffering

In this expositional sermon on James 5:1-12, James warns us not to trust in riches, seek our own comfort, or take vengeance when we suffer. Instead, believers are called to establish their hearts, remain steadfast, and patiently wait for the Lord who will make all things right.

The Battle and The Armor of God

In this expositional sermon on Ephesians 6:10-20, we are reminded that the battle is real, but the enemy is not flesh and blood. God has not left His people unarmed, but calls us to stand in His strength, clothed with the armor He provides. We do not fight for victory, but from the victory Christ has already won, trusting His Word, praying in His Spirit, and standing firm.
