Absalom had everything going for him. Good looks, a following, and five pounds of hair he weighed in front of the whole town once a year. He also had ambition his father never handed him, and it cost him his life in a forest outside the city. In this message, Pastor Shannon O'Dell walks through 2 Samuel 14 through 18 and what the Bible has to say about hair, image, and the environments we wander into. The woods killed more of Absalom's men than the sword did. They were good soldiers. They were just in the wrong place. If you've been fighting a battle you were never called to fight, or carrying bitterness toward someone who hurt you, this one is for you.
