School Violence: Students to Shooters. 5 NO more violence

Parents, students, teachers, administrators, business owners, and community leaders are more than shocked at the fact that educational campuses are becoming 21st Century battle zones. School Violence: Students to Shooters 4

Teachers and students in America’s schools want answers as to why a unique form of “terrorism” or “unplanned violence” is taking place in institutions dedicated to learning. Teachers and administrators are invited to join Professor Applewhite, invited guests, and the staff and Board of Directors of White Apple Institute. This is very useful information for students, families, and interested citizens of the world that feel confused about the loss of lives. The most common question is how students (diagnosed or not with a mental disability) can progress through our school systems without intervention and follow-up that will change their maladaptive behavior. Let’s discuss positive solutions that will address both sides of the issues. Much Love and Peace! MISS a show just check out the archives and press play at http://blogtalkradio.com/student2teacher

School Violence: Students to Shooters -3 School Policy

Do you believe that the mentally ill defense will work with violent offenders on school campuses, specifically if premeditated? Are you in agreement about how student information is protected? Professor Applewhite, other staff members at White Apple Institute, and invited guests welcome you to join our discussion on legislation, insurance laws, privacy of student information, and the Americans with Disability Act. Increased enrollment of students diagnosed with mental health disorders is not the reason for increasing violence. Most students with a mental health diagnosis stay well managed on medications, see a therapist at least twice annually, and succeed at college and work environments at the same or better incidence level as those not diagnosed. The Greatest Resource is You! -Part Three of Three-The First Steps

This episode is a closing discussion of how we stay balanced after making the first steps into a new job, career, or classes. A few weeks ago, Professor Applewhite encouraged Listeners to set goals with realistic expectations. In other words, working or studying so much that our basic needs are not met. It is important for teachers and students to avoid added frustrations by setting goals we cannot accomplish successfully. After identifying that we hold the greatest resource within ourselves it is now the time to take those first steps towards our new goals. The goals we set could be getting off the couch and taking a walk, or deciding how many classes we are going to take next semester, or rewriting our resume in hopes of a new job opportunity, whatever we wish to accomplish in the future we must take the first steps in the present. Staff and guests of White Apple Institute welcome you to share your goals or challenges so we can continue to encourage each other. Much Love and Peace!
