Grace and Forgiveness...for YOU
Sometimes the biggest lesson comes from a complete stranger. This episode is not about charity, it is about grace, forgiveness, and the way so many of us quietly believe we do not deserve kindness, healing, or another chance. Listen in as I discuss self-forgiveness, compassion, and the unexpected conversation that stayed with me long after the rain stopped.
My Vulnerability Then Is My Strength Now
In celebration of episode 300, I am reflecting on the woman I was when this podcast began and the stronger, wiser, more vulnerable woman I am today. Our past experiences may mold us, but they do not have to keep us in a choke hold, and as long as we have breath in our lungs, we still have room to grow.
100% Human 100% of the time
I’m 100% human, 100% of the time, and while I’m nowhere near perfect, I can look back and see the growth. Listen in as I speak about recognizing our triggers, giving ourselves credit for handling things better than we used to, and understanding that growth isn’t about never getting angry, making mistakes, or falling back...it’s about catching ourselves sooner, choosing differently, and continuing to become better than we were yesterday.
Just say thank you
Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness leave the biggest impact. Listen in as I talk about learning to receive compliments with gratitude, give love freely, look people in the eyes, and never underestimate how much a kind word can change someone’s day.
The Invisible People in Your Life
In a world where negativity often gets the most attention, we sometimes forget how deeply a prayer, compliment, donation, smile, or simple act of kindness from a complete stranger can change someone's day or even their life. Listen in as I talk about the invisible people in our lives, the unexpected ways strangers can bless us, and why each of us has the power to be that person for someone else.
Sometimes things are exactly how they seem
Sometimes what we see is nothing more than our imagination filling in the blanks, but other times, life is putting the same message in front of us until we finally pay attention. Listen in as I speak about learning the difference between assumption and discernment, recognizing the lessons hidden in our experiences, and using what we have learned to help someone coming behind us.
Don't stockpile the hurt
Sometimes the people we love do things that hurt or bother us without realizing it, and staying silent only allows those feelings to pile up. Listen in as I talk about speaking up in love, listening without immediately becoming defensive, taking accountability when necessary, and giving the people we love an opportunity to grow before hurt turns into resentment.
When you forgett there's a human being on the other side
Has the internet made us crueler, or has it simply removed the consequences? Listen in as I speak about division, accountability, and what happens when we forget there's a real person behind every screen.
Give them the opportunity to apologize
Sometimes, people get upset with those they claim to love and never express it. They will talk to others about it, and sometimes just cut you out of their life and you have no idea why. Listen in as I give a little advise...straight from someone that knows how it feels to be cut out without an explanation.
Negativities lasting impact
Have you ever realized that someone else's negativity followed you home? Listen in as I discuss how childhood wounds, painful conversations, and unresolved hurt can quietly affect our relationships, and why protecting your peace is one of the healthiest decisions you'll ever make.
