In the first episode, I decided to discuss some of the unique architectural elements of the CCTV headquarters in Beijing, China; elements such as the gravity-defying cantilever, the integrated loop, as well as the facade cross-bracings have effects both on the aesthetic aspects and the functionality aspect of the building.
