WWE SmackDown August 28, 2026 was awful. This is my full WWE SmackDown review, and honestly, I can't remember the last time I was this disappointed with an episode of SmackDown. Tonight's show had plenty of big names and storylines, including Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton continuing their heated feud, CM Punk and Kevin Owens dealing with the fallout from last week's chaos, and a Triple Threat involving Kevin Owens, GUNTHER and Finn Bálor. But for me, the show completely failed to deliver. The Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton segment especially left me frustrated. With the two under a no-contact stipulation before their upcoming match, the confrontation built toward something that never really paid off. Then the main event ended in more interference and another non-finish, with Sami Zayn getting involved and CM Punk appearing afterward ...
