Last night’s SmackDown was wild, and I’ve got some hot takes. Jade Cargill looked strong, but that face-off with Charlotte Flair didn’t hit for me. Asuka was her usual amazing self. Drew McIntyre completely lost it, crashed out on a referee, and now Nick Aldis has suspended him. Aleister Black and Damian Priest are moving up the ladder with Cody Rhodes in the main event scene, which is actually pretty cool. LA Knight still isn’t getting pushed, and that’s a problem. Joe Hendry might be the mystery opponent next week, and Chelsea Green walked out as the new U.S. Champion. Solid SmackDown overall — not perfect, but definitely worth talking about.
