Note sull'episodio

Parents and guardians are gearing up for kids to head back to school, but with the return to class comes the exposure to more people, which often results in a rise in respiratory illnesses, including flu and COVID-19. To set kids up for success, Dr. Kitty O’Hare, the senior medical director for Duke Primary Care Pediatrics, shared advice for parents and guardians. O’Hare says the seasonal flu vaccine and the most up-to-date COVID vaccines should be available shortly, and it’s best to talk with a health care provider about the best vaccine regimen for children. Dr. O’Hare joined Jeff Hamlin on the WPTF Afternoon News to discuss other recommendations.
