The shape of high school sports will change drastically in August 2025. After years of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association being comprised of four classifications, it will change to eight. Last week, the NCHSAA announced that the highest classification will be comprised of the largest 32 schools in the state, the so-called “Big 32.” Some of those schools are in Wake County. J.
