In this episode of Wonderfully Made: Bible Stories for Children, we learn what happened after King Solomon died and how the nation of Israel became divided into two kingdoms.

Children will hear the true Bible story of Rehoboam, Solomon’s son, who chose pride instead of wisdom. When the people asked him to lighten their burdens, Rehoboam listened to the wrong advice and answered harshly. Because of this, the kingdom split apart.

We also meet Jeroboam, the new leader of the northern kingdom, who made a dangerous choice by leading the people into idol worship with golden calves.
