Good morning. Virginia. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside right now and you'll feel 53 degrees. In early March. That's not a typo. Today we're chasing history, central and Western Virginia soar into the low 80s this afternoon. Richmond's gunning for 82 degrees — that would tie the 1990 record. Norfolk aims for 79, just shy of the 1981 mark. These are late May temperatures showing up three weeks before spring officially starts. Moving on. Mostly sunny skies dominate, though Western Virginia might see a stray shower around 2 P.M. As daytime heating kicks in. Nothing serious. Winds stay light out of the southwest. As the sun sets. Tonight barely cools off, lows only drop to 60 degrees statewide under clear skies. You might sleep with the windows cracked. Wednesday cranks the heat even higher. Mid 80s across most of the state — potentially the warmest  ...
