Forty five degrees from the Shenandoah Valley all the way to Virginia Beach. The entire state, same temperature. That almost never happens. Now here's the thing. The wind tells a different story. Out in the western mountains, you're catching northwest gusts at 9 to 14 miles an hour. Enough to make that 45 feel more like 38. Drive east toward Richmond and it's barely a whisper, 3 to 9 miles an hour. Down in Hampton Roads, you're splitting the difference at 7 to 10. Tonight, the whole state dips into the upper 20s.
