Good afternoon! I'm Aaron Jolly. And welcome to the Vermont Weather Podcast. It's Sunday, February 22nd. Folks, enjoy the quiet while it lasts. A nor'easter is winding up off the Mid-Atlantic right now. And it's aiming straight at us tonight. This one's going to hit hard. Southern Vermont takes the biggest punch. Snow starts around 4 PM today. By tonight it turns into a full assault. Eight to twelve inches by Monday evening. Winds gusting to 38 miles an hour. Blowing snow. Near zero visibility. You're looking at 26 degrees right now, but by Monday morning? Eight degrees. Wind chills dropping to minus 3. A Winter Storm Warning kicks in at 7 PM tonight. If you're anywhere near Bennington or Brattleboro, get your errands done now. Slide up through the Green Mountains into central Vermont.
